Manually adjusting configurations across numerous rate plans is slow and prone to error. The Bulk Edit allows you to select several rate plans and define their Pricing Classification, Segment, and/or Restriction Classification in one efficient action. This is crucial for maintaining consistency when adding new rate plans across multiple properties or when standardizing settings across your portfolio.
How to Bulk Edit Rate Plans
1. Navigate to Rate Plans
Go to Settings → Rate Plans screen.
2. Select Rate Plans
From the rate plan list, select the rate plans you want to update. You can select multiple rate plans across one or more properties.
3. Open Bulk Edit
Click Actions → Bulk Edit to open the Bulk Edit drawer.
4. Define changes
Use the fields provided to define the new values for the configuration elements you want to update:
Pricing Classification - choose a new classification type
Segmentation - choose a new segment (e.g., BAR, Group)
Restriction Classification - choose a new restriction classification
⚠️ Important - the Bulk Edit only applies changes to the fields you explicitly modify in the drawer. Any field you leave blank or untouched will retain its original configuration for all selected rate plans.
5. Save
Once you’ve made your changes, click Save.
The selected rate plans will be automatically updated with the new configuration.
