Hi There!

The below article expands on the two core functions of our Revenue Planning feature; Managing your budget and user forecast πŸ“Š

You may have noticed the option to input your "User Forecast" but perhaps your view does not change the way that our demo shows below! Or perhaps your yellow budget line is sitting at the bottom of the graph, with no figures attached to it πŸ˜•

You may need to actually enter your figures into our Revenue Planning feature in order to make use of the benefits in your data visualisation across the platform!

User Forecast

For the purpose of total clarity, your User Forecast is completely separate to the forecast that we generate through our forecasting algorithm and is simply a way for you to manage and input your own user forecast that your team may be running in tandem.

Maria will walk you through this in great detail through the demonstration below! As well as showcase how to easily input your forecast as well.

There are also some great ways that you can interact further with this feature, by locking your forecast to ensure that it reflects in Insights πŸ“Š so that you have your user forecast data available to add to custom visualisations and dashboards! (NB: Only the most recently locked forecast figures will appear in Insights)

As well as going one step further and having multiple versions of your forecast!

Or even managing your forecast at a more granular level, building it out in our platform by day.

Budgets

You can easily create and manage budgets directly in FLYR. Maria will walk you through this in great detail through the demonstration below, as well as, showcase how to easily input your budgets as well.

NOTE: The budget does not have any impact on the forecast or pricing recommendations. Needless to say, FLYR will always push for the best results possible and does not just aim to match budget figures πŸ“ˆ

Insights Queries (Explore)

Q: Where can I access Budget or User Forecast information in FLYR Hospitality Insights?

A: The Budget and User Forecast information is available in the Statistics Explore of within Insights. Check out the screenshot below to find the information and remember that the last locked version will be available.

  • If you do not have access to Insights Explore, reach out to your Customer Success team to get it enabled!

If you have any queries or questions for us on this feature, refer to our change log to see if we have released any new updates there! Or please do reach out to our Customer Success Team via the chat! πŸ’¬
