Although it is well known that the Portfolio Dashboard is the first thing you will see when logging on to the FLYR Hospitality platform, there may still be a few surprises for you in terms of its' full potential!
What is the Portfolio Summary?
The Portfolio Summary is FLYR Hospitality landing page.
Here, you can easily establish how your properties are performing as a group or individually in terms of Revenue, Occupancy, RevPAR and ADR. You can even select the currency you wish to report in (top right).
Note: Please also keep in mind the default setting is on entire portfolio, so if you wish to look at specific properties, you need to select them first.
All displayed figures are true as of the last data update (refreshed once every hour) and all revenue-related metrics are based on the Net Overnight Accommodation revenues. This excludes by default Non-overnight accommodation revenues, but these can easily be added using the additional tab described further down in this article.
Monthly, Weekly & Daily Overview
Make sure you choose the property(ies) you wish to look at first, otherwise it will always default to the whole portfolio.
Select the KPI you wish to look at, and the page will update the figures accordingly.
Make sure to select the period you wish to focus on as well, e.g. Month to Date or Year to Date or This Month, This Year or a custom daterange.
Select your preferred comparison type—Date or Day of Week (DoW)—to tailor your analysis to either specific calendar dates or corresponding days of the week for more meaningful comparisons.
You can also toggle between Day, Week, Month and Year view by selecting either from the button above the main chart to the right.
This graph allows you to easily compare the results in terms of Revenue, Occupancy, RevPAR and ADR against Last Year and STLY as well as against forecast and Budget.
Core KPI Breakdown: Inventory Name, Channel Mix and Segmentation (PMS or FLYR)
Making use of the interactive nature of this feature, you can for example, click on a specific month or even custom period, isolate key data and at a quick glance, analyse your room type mix by KPI (e.g. Revenue, Volume or ADR) , channel mix by KPI as well as your segments defined in the PMS. This is separate to your Segmentation which appears in Insights (Read our article on Segmentation to better understand this feature)
Add Your Budget
You can also add your own revenue budget (or forecast!) to the main chart, so you can track at a glance how the property(ies) is (are) performing against targets.
Note: Once budget has been entered, it will take until the next optimisation to show for reporting.
Filtering Your Properties
By clicking on the filter next to the currency menu in the top right hand of the page, you are able to add additional filters for your properties based on Country, Brand, Area or PMS. By choosing a label in one of those dropdown menu's, the metrics shown in the main Portfolio dashboard will adapt to show only the properties that are relevant.
Using the Additional Tab
The Additional tab provides further customization options. Here, you can choose:
Forecast Type: Select your preferred forecast display—either AI Forecast or User Forecast.
Revenue Categories: Choose the specific revenue categories you’d like included in your reporting, enabling more tailored insights aligned with your reporting needs.
These options allow for a more personalized and relevant view of your portfolio metrics and forecasts.
Pick-up Overview
The pick-up breakdown is an excellent way to see, at a quick glance, how your property or group is "picking up" or "washing" bookings over the course of a specific period and to see even further detail into this, move over to the Pricing screen and go to "Pick-up" to see a calendar view of the same data.
