Our Alerts feature is arguably one of the most important sections of the platform for daily checks and guidance on possible action ๐Ÿšจ

Let's look at an example of a property on Automation and identify any learnings and takeaways!

Now it is important to note that we will alert you of any dates per room type, where we are hitting within 5% of the Minimum or Maximum price threshold.

The very first alert we see here is for this upcoming Saturday where we see a "High Season" price setting has been put in place however 19 days out we were already at the absolute maximum price allowed to our pricing engine,

Just 6 days days later and still 13 days out from the selling date, we had completely sold out the property at 100% occupancy

The key takeaway here is that through regular monitoring of these high demand dates, there may have been further opportunity to explore higher prices, generate even higher ADR's and ultimately maximise our RevPAR even further.

The power is in your hands but in this case, we can see that by no additional user intervention, we may have in fact limited our pricing engines ability to generate the highest possibly revenue on this date.

The same applies for low demand dates where there may be opportunity to lower your minimum threshold slightly in certain instances of particularly low demand.

Restrictions

You will notice as well that there are alerts for your restrictions recommendations. If you do have this activated and want a detailed outline and understanding of exactly how this feature works as a whole, apart from simply being able to apply what we are recommending in the moment, then refer to this collection of articles where Maria, one of our awesome Product Managers has detailed at great length exactly how to use our Restrictions module.
