A Routine is easiest to start from wording that already works. The examples below cover scheduled reviews and condition-led emails for a hotel's pickup, rate, and data-quality work. Copy the wording, replace the property with your own, and test it before you schedule it.

How to use these examples
In a scheduled Routine, enter the wording in Instructions. In a conditional Routine, enter the condition in Watch for and the analysis you want afterwards in Instructions.
Every example uses Flagship Austin by Flyr. Replace it with your property, written exactly as it appears in Insights. A Routine runs with your data permissions, so it only sees the properties you can see.
Test each one before you rely on it. Use Run now for a scheduled Routine and Test condition for a conditional Routine, then read what comes back. If a Routine does not behave as you expect, see Troubleshooting Your Routines.
Scheduled Routine examples
Weekly commercial brief
Use it when a revenue manager reviews the property's position with a general manager each Monday.
Create a Skill that describes the brief, then have the Routine run it. The article Run a Skill Automatically with a Routine explains the steps.
Enter this in Instructions:
Run /weekly-commercial-brief for Flagship Austin by Flyr, using the current stay month. Keep these sections: Current position, Segment and channel drivers, Recent pickup, Forward view. If a section has no data, say so.
You receive a written brief by email with pace against the same time last year, segment and channel movement, recent pickup, and the forward view.
Monthly KPI review
Use it when you want last month's results at the start of each month.
Enter this in Instructions:
Run /monthly-kpi-review for Flagship Austin by Flyr for the previous full month. Always include these sections: Headline KPIs, Segment, Rate plans, Booking curve, Forecast accuracy, and Management summary. If a section has no data, keep its heading and write "No data returned for this section."
Schedule it for the second or third day of the month. On the first day the month has only just closed, so late postings can still change the figures.
Conditional Routine examples
A conditional Routine checks your Watch for statement on the schedule you set and sends an email only when the condition is met. Write the condition precisely: the property, the period, the measure, and the level you mean.
Units at or above a level
Use it to see which dates are filling up so you can review price and restrictions. Enter this in Watch for:
At Flagship Austin by Flyr, any stay date in the next 60 days where units on the books are 70 or more.
ADR well below last year
Use it to find months with real volume where rate is lagging. The minimum number of units keeps very small months out of the email. Enter this in Watch for:
At Flagship Austin by Flyr, any stay month in the next 18 months where ADR is more than 20% below the same time last year, with at least 50 units on the books.
Price outside its limits
Use it to review prices that sit above their maximum or below their minimum. Enter this in Watch for:
At Flagship Austin by Flyr, any inventory for stay dates in the next 30 days where the latest price is above its maximum price or below its minimum price.
Saying "latest price" checks every stay date and inventory. If you only want prices that were updated today, say that instead.
No pickup yesterday
Use it to spot a quiet day worth a look. Enter this in Watch for:
Notify me when Flagship Austin by Flyr had no booking pickup at all yesterday, with no new bookings, changes, or cancellations for any future stay date.
Unmapped values
Use it to keep your data complete. The email lists each item. Enter this in Watch for:
Any rate code, channel, or segment that is unmapped.
While an item stays unmapped, the email arrives again at each check. Map the item to stop it.
A figure that changes
Use it when you want to hear whenever a total moves. Enter this in Watch for:
Notify me when the total number of units picked up today across the properties I can see changes from the previous check.
The first check sets the starting point. After that, the Routine sends an email only when the result is different from the previous check.
Adapt an example
Name the property exactly as it appears in Insights.
State the period, such as the next 60 days, so the Routine checks the dates you care about.
State the level of detail, such as the whole property, so the condition matches what you mean.
Say when it should send, for example when results are present, or when the result changes from the previous check.
Use Test condition and preview the query before you save, and confirm it returns what you intended.
Describe the analysis you want in Instructions, such as listing each date with its units, ADR, and revenue.
