How to use the Display Options panel to control which data points appear inside Optimization table cells and which data panels appear below it, and how those choices are saved per user.

Written by Maria Garbea

The Display Options panel lets you tailor the Optimization table to the way you work. You decide which data points appear inside each cell and which supplementary panels appear below the table, so the screen shows the context you rely on and hides what you do not need.

Note: The redesigned Optimization screen is currently available to pilot properties. If you would like your property included, please reach out to our Advisory team.

Opening Display Options

  1. Locate the Display Options control in the top-right of the Optimization table header.

  2. Select it to open the panel, which slides in from the right side of the screen.

The panel has two tabs: Data Sets which controls what appears inside the pricing cells and screen, and Table Order, which controls the order in which data is displayed.

The Data Sets tab

The Data Sets tab is where you choose which data points are displayed. A Search box at the top lets you find a specific data point quickly. Beneath it, data points are organized into collapsible groups that you can expand or collapse. Tick a checkbox to show a data point, untick it to hide it.

Pricing Table

Controls which data points are visible inside each cell of the pricing table:

  • Occupancy OTB - On The Books occupancy.

  • Occupancy Forecast - projected occupancy.

  • Pick-up - booking movement over your selected period.

  • Left to Sell - remaining inventory.

  • Restrictions Indicator - the icon shown when a tactical restriction applies.

Panel groups

The remaining groups control the data panels below the pricing table - Property Performance, Pick-up and Inventory and Capacity. Each group expands to show its individual metrics as checkboxes. For example, Property Performance is organized by metric (Occupancy, Units, ADR, and so on), each offering comparisons such as OTB, STLY, Forecast, Budget, and LY.

Two behaviors worth knowing:

  1. A panel is hidden automatically when all of its data points are unticked, and it reappears as soon as you tick at least one back on. There is no separate master switch per panel.

  2. A Default view toggle (table icon or chart icon) is shown for panels that support both, setting which mode the panel opens in when the table loads.

The Table Order tab

The Table Order tab controls the order in which your selected data points and panels are displayed. Reorder the items here to match the way you read the table, so the metrics you check first sit where you want them.

Saving and discarding changes

Your changes are not applied until you save them.

  1. Make your changes across the Data Sets and Table Order tabs - checkboxes, forecast source, default views, and display order.

  2. Select Save to apply them to the table.

  3. Select Close to discard any unsaved changes and leave the table as it was.

Note: Closing the panel without saving discards everything you changed in that session, on both tabs. Use Save to keep your changes.
