Daily Tasks

  1. Monitor Pick-up: (Pricing tab, Pick-up sub-section if no Commercial Intelligence access). Default recommended 90 days out view - depending on business model and property lead time.

Recommended use of the following reports (schedule daily automated reports):

    1. If property level:

      • Pick-up Overview: recommended for wide audience ≈ 2min read

      • Pick-up Detail: recommended for Commercial Teams and General Manager ≈ 4min read

      • Performance by Night: recommended for Operational departments and Revenue Management ≈ 5min read (depending on timeframe setup).

    2. If multi-property:

      • Pick-up Overview: recommended for wide audience ≈ 2min read

      • Performance by Property ≈ 4min read (depending on property count).

  2. Audit Price Freeze: recommended use of Critical Price Settings on the Insights tab.

  3. Audit Price Settings using Price Alerts: review all dates where threshold is hit. We consider hitting a price threshold if a current price is within 5% of the configured price limits.

    1. A current price hitting a MINIMUM price threshold might result in loss revenue throught volume.

    2. A current price hitting a MAXIMUM price threshold might result in loss revenue throught ADR.

  4. Audit and update Restrictions: recommended use of the calendar and list views within the Restrictions tab.

Weekly Tasks

  1. Monitor weekly Pick-up: Refer to Daily Tasks 1.

Default recommended 365 days out view - depending on business model and property lead time.

  2. Monitor FLYR Forecast: using the portfolio summary dynamic view (daily/weekly/monthly) on all KPIs (Occupancy, ADR, Revenue and RevPAR) and Performance reports in Insights.

  3. Audit existing and new demand impacting events as notes or Event/Season Price Settings: (sports games, concerts, conferences, public holidays, national and international school holidays, group enquiries etc...)

  4. Audit new rate plans Classification: (automatically imported into FLYR for Hospitality) Configuration -> Rate Plan Setup -> Filter Classification "Unclassified".

Monthly Tasks

  1. Audit Inventory Groupings: Using the Insights "Strategy by Property" report (or the quick view within Portfolio Summary: Click on any month in the graph -> Breakdown), analyse occupancy and ADR performance at the inventory level to determine if current inventory grouping and price deviations are optimal.

  2. Check the Historical Forecast Overview: (in Insights -> System Monitoring) to review the previous month's forecast accuracy over time (30/60/90 days out APE).

  3. Analyse results of previous month and compare against expectations.

    • Too many restrictions used vs too little? Live and learn!

  4. Analyse production by segment, channels and rate codes using Strategy by Property report in the Insights tab.
